Community Midwives

Once your pregnancy has been confirmed you need to make an initial appointment to see one of the midwives, Debbie or Dawn, who will talk you through the next steps including your referral to the hospital of choice.

The midwives, in consultation with the doctor, will care for you and your baby right through to the birth.

Your doctor will conduct your postnatal check and baby’s eight-week check following its birth.

Midwife clinics are held at the surgery on a Wednesday afternoon for first bookings and Thursday afternoons for follow-up clinics.

Appointments for midwives may be booked through reception.
