Welcome to The Fountain Medical Centre Online
Welcome to The Fountain Medical Centre, this website has been designed to tell you about the practice and the services that we offer. Please read it carefully. We trust that you will find it helpful and informative.
We previously worked in a converted house on London Road, Newark, and moved here in October 1986. The old surgery was by a small public garden known as the Fountain Gardens.
The Fountain was a monument erected at the beginning of the century to Ethel Harrison who rescued a child from the Chesterfield canal but perished in the attempt. Many of our older patients referred to our premises as the "Fountain" and we have tried to preserve the link by incorporating a small fountain in the design.
